We meet through a secure, HIPAA-compliant video platform, just like a regular video call, but private and protected. You'll get a link before each session. All you need is a quiet space and a stable internet connection.
-
Not currently. My practice is fully virtual, which lets me offer more flexible scheduling and work with couples anywhere in Massachusetts, not just Cambridge.

Couples therapy is $180 per session. I don't accept insurance directly, but I provide superbills you can submit to your insurance company for potential out-of-network reimbursement. I also offer free 15 minute initial consultations to see if we’re a good fit.
-
Your first appointment starts with a free 15-minute phone consultation, a chance for us to talk about what's bringing you in and see if we're a good fit before you commit to anything. If we move forward, our first full session is where I get to know both of you and start understanding the patterns that brought you here.

That depends entirely on you and your relationship. Some couples come in with a specific issue to work through and finish in a few months. Others stay longer to keep building on what they've learned. We'll check in regularly on how things are progressing and what makes sense going forward.
-
Yes, absolutely. I'm committed to creating a safe, affirming space for LGBTQIA+ couples and individuals. This isn't an afterthought to my practice, it's a core part of how I work, and I bring that same lens of curiosity and respect to every relationship I work with, regardless of orientation or gender identity.
-
That's more common than you'd think, and it doesn't mean therapy won't work. Sometimes one partner reaching out first is exactly what starts things moving. I'm happy to talk with whoever's ready first about what couples therapy actually looks like, so you can bring that back to your partner with real answers instead of just an idea.
-
Yes. Not every couple who comes to therapy is trying to save the relationship exactly as it is, some are trying to figure out what they actually want. I can help you both get clarity, whether that means rebuilding what you have or making a more informed decision about what comes next. Either way, you deserve to move forward with intention instead of just uncertainty.
-
Most couples start with weekly sessions, since consistency tends to make the work move faster. There's no minimum commitment required, we'll reassess together as we go, and you're always in control of the pace.
